Two little defeats and fickle Arsenal fans go mad!

I don’t know if Arsenal fans actually realise that football is just a game, and is not the only meaning in our lives, but it seems that the whole world falls apart when the Gunners lose a couple of games. Okay the Watford loss was quite embarrassing, but to lose away to a team that has absolutely dominated this season’s EPL is not such a disgrace and should be treated with caution. There are very very very few teams that will win at Stamford Bridge this season, like most seasons in fact!

Even our old enemy Harry Redknapp is chiming in with some sympathy for Arsene Wenger this morning. ‘He has been a fantastic manager over the years for the job he has done at Arsenal,’ Harry said when he saw the WengerOut leaflets.

‘Maybe it is time for a change, if they don’t win the league – well they won’t win the league this year – maybe Arsene will look at it and think “I’ve done an incredible job while I’ve been here” and leave while he’s still where he is [up here].

‘I would hate to see him get hounded out of there.’

I don’t understand why our best manager EVER should be “hounded out”. We are still in the top Four, and we are only 3 points below second place with many months to go. We have every chance of winning the race “without including Chelsea” and (you never know!) they may even have a blip of their own before the end of the season, although that is hard to believe. We may hate our neighbours but we simply have to admit that this season Conte and his team has totally dominated this League, and fully deserve to take the crown. Are all the other teams below him calling for their manager to be sacked? No!

Why are Arsenal fans so fickle?
