You could say that Arsenal were not at their best away to Watford today and you would be right. Without the attacking flair and striking ability of Alexis Sanchez and the midfield running, goal threat and all of Aaron Ramsey we were missing a lot going forward. And after losing Mustafi to injury during the international break the last thing we needed was to then lose Koscielny to injury toward the end as Watford tails were up and they were pushing for the winner.
Arsenal also lost Danny Welbeck to an injury and he was only just fit again from the last time. To make it worse he picked it up when running through on goal and being barged over by a Watford defender. Now while I would not usually mind us not getting the penalty, when the same ref then gives an even softer one against us after Richarlison just runs into Bellerin and throws himself to the ground, I have to wonder what Wenger and Arsenal have done to deserve this unrelenting bad luck.
Remember the Stoke game away? We got nothing from that either becaise of a number of decisions by the officials, so that is six points down the drain because of rotten luck. No wonder the boss looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders.
