Watford hoping to capitalise on the pressure on the Arsene Wenger

Although Arsenal won in the Europa League on Thursday, they are still on a run of four defeats domestically, which has not happened under Arsene Wenger since 2002 and the Watford defender Daryl Janmaat says his side can take advantage of that pressure and get a positive result against Wenger’s men.

“I think they are not happy at the moment. Arsenal never lose four [domestic games] in a row and that is not usual,” he said.

“I think Wenger is maybe having some trouble and that is not on us. The pressure will be on him and we have to make sure we are concentrating.

“We have to go with the same attitude as the last games and try to get the result.”

“It is important to try and keep them to nil for as long as possible in these type of games.

“We know if they score earlier it is going to be frustrating for them so we need to be ready and know what we have to do.”

Will the Arsenal fans start to turn on Wenger and the players again and create a toxic atmosphere if we don’t get off to a good start tomorrow?
