Watford will be a tough nut for Arsenal to crack

In Arsenal’s last away League game we managed to score five past a previously unbeaten Leicester side, but our trip up to Watford could prove to be even more difficult. The Hornets may just have been promoted but they are holding ther own off the back of some fine defensive performances.

After four home games their records reads: Scored 1 Conceded 1. The only two teams to score two goals against them this season are Man City and Everton, and both of those were away games. In fact the last time they conceded more than one goal in a home game was back in February!

None of this should worry Arsenal though as we are in such fine form, and we will have a deep knowledge of the way they play as our very own Hector Bellerin spent three months on loan at Vicarage Road. He said ahead of this match: “I had a good two months there and still see a lot of them. I’m in touch with Troy [Deeney] and a few of the others.

“It will be very nice to be back at the Vic. I think they can stay up in the league, they have the right team for it. They are a tough team to play against, they are a young team who like to play with the ball so I’m happy they have started well.”

Quique Sánchez Flores’ team have adapted well to the rigours of the Premier League and are proving hard to beat, but one factor in the Gunners favour is all four of our previous League meetings have ended with Arsenal wins.

So be confident but don’t expect Watford to be broken down easily. They should be more competitive than Man United…
