Welbeck for Ozil should be ONLY Arsenal change!

I am not having a go at Mesut Ozil here by any means. I am actually quite a big fan of the Arsenal and Germany star and have never been one of the Arsenal fans who thought he was too lightweight and would never make it in the rough and tumble of the Premier League.

The German play maker has already started to prove just that since his return from the injury he picked up against Chelsea last year. But I think that maybe this is one that Ozil should sit out, at least from the kick-off anyway. I don´t think that it is going to be the sort of game that will really allow him to shine for one thing.

But this is not just about Ozil, because I think that this game is tailor made for Danny Welbeck. With no issues of fatigue and assuming that Wenger has not been playing a fast one over the Alexis injury, there is no real reason to change a winning team, apart from Welbeck for Ozil. The former Man United man has been a little bit forgotten in recent weeks and that is the price you pay for being just a part of a star studded team I suppose. But we should not forget how impressed we were with Welbeck before his injury.

It is going to be a bit of a battle at White Hart Lane and I would want Welbeck on my side in that situation because he is willing to use his strength and he is a very honest and unselfish player. So Danny will be very handy when we have to defend and give Spurs no time.

And when we get the chance to break, his pace, power and passing in a front line with Giroud and Walcott could be invaluable. Add to all that the fact that he must be absolutely gagging to play again and he has to be a nailed on starter, hasn’t he?
