Wenger says Arsenal WILL rotate – But who?

Arsenal do not play our next Premier League game for another few days but because of the new year celebrations the manager has given his pre-match press conference today for the visit of Steve McLaren and his Newcastle United side, and you can see what the Frenchman had to say on the Arsenal website.

And although the only player that Arsene Wenger has available since the win over Bournemouth is Mathieu Flamini, the boss told the press that he would definitely be rotating his players. But which of the Arsenal players do you think should be rested, or dropped, and which deserve to keep their places in the starting line up?

Wenger made four changes for the last game, with Gabriel, Gibbs, Chambers and Oxlade-Chamberlain coming in for Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini and Campbell and his talk of rotation could simply mean that he is planning to change back but I think not.

If he was planning to let the overworked Koscielny and Monreal have a break then he might as well give them another game off as the replacements did very well. I was fairly impressed with Chambers and the Ox as well and would be happy to see them start again.

There are other Gunners who have started to look a bit weary though, such as Bellerin and Giroud so maybe Wenger is thinking of giving Debuchy a rare start against his former club and perhaps playing Walcott as the central striker and bringing Campbell back.

Which changes would you like to see against the Magpies?
