What should Arsenal do about Carl Jenkinson interest?

Carl Jenkinson is the subject of numerous offers to leave Arsenal currently, but what should we do?

The defender broke into the first-team back in 2012, but has fallen way back in the pecking order, and now is well behind Hector Bellerin in the fight for a starting spot.

Mathieu Debuchy is also in the squad currently, but also looks likely to depart the club, so what should the club do with Jenkinson?

We have no intention of replacing the Spanish full-back as number one, but we do need a back-up in the squad.

Gabriel Paulista filled in the role whilst Bellerin and Debuchy were out injured, and with Per Mertesacker and Rob Holding in the squad also, do we have room to allow both Debuchy and Jenkinson to leave?

Bellerin has also been the subject of strong interest from the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona, but we persuaded him to sign a new long-term deal this season, and there should be no doubts about his future.

Gabriel did well when filling in earlier in the season, and could well be a permanent back-up to Bellerin, if we were to allow both Carl and Mathieu to leave this month.

Crystal Palace are believed to have come in with an offer to sign Jenkinson on a permanent basis, but they are the first to be claimed to have offered anything other than a loan option, with a few interested in a temporary deal supposedly.

With Bellerin already stamping his foot well on his spot, is it time to allow Jenkinson a permanent move? Should we be looking to bring in a younger back-up to Bellerin?
