Who should Arsenal buy and sell this summer?

32 Players that Arsenal are keeping eyes on, 3 potential incomings, 8 potential outgoings

With more than 7 players looking likely to leave the Emirates this summer, I’ve highlighted 32 players based on form and/or we’ve been linked with in the last 6 months that could be a-listed by Arsenal scouts for summer marketing. It is looking increasing likely that Arsenal are set to lose David Ospina to Turkish side Fenerbache this summer with the two clubs already looking to complete a swift deal for the 28 year old Columbian international. Arsenal could also be open to offers for defenders Per Mertesacker, Carl Jenkinson, Keiran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal with Everton and Athletic Bilbao linked with the English and Spanish internationals. Mathieu Debuchy could also feature on the departure list with several French clubs looking to bring him back to his native country.

Yaya Sanogo may be offloaded to the Championship, while Joel Campbell could follow Ospina to Fenerbache. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jack Wilshere are set to attract interest amid speculation to Alexis Sánchez and Mesut Özil may or may not leave the club this window; Arsenal may look to extend the two English international’s contracts. Olivier Giroud could be tempted with a move to Marseille whom have a firm interest in the 30 year old.

With players set to leave this summer, it could pave way for some other squad players to step up including the likes of Wojciech Szczesny, Emiliano Martinez, Gabriel, Calum Chambers, Mohamed Elneny, Krstien Bielik, Jeff-Reine Adelaide, Jack Wilshere, Takuma Asano and Chuba Akpom. Youth academy prospects Ainsley Maintland-Niles, Gedion Zelalem, Jon Toral and Rob Holding will be looking into cementing into the first team, while others like Ben Sheaf, Cohen Bramall, Donyell Malen, Reiss Nelson, Chris Willock, Stephy Mavididi, Dan Crowley and Stefan O’Connor will be relishing for a first team opportunity.

The Gunners will most likely look into recruiting top targets Jordan Pickford, Ben Gibson and Naby Keita with reports that Arsenal have already began negotiations. Other top targets like Leon Goretzka could be pursuaded by Italian football with Juve believed to be interested in the 22 year old. Alexander Lacazette would attract worldwide interest and it would be up to Arsenal to commit to a deal sooner rather than later. Finally, Wilfred Zaha could attract interest from numerous Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs.
