So much money has been spent in the premier league in the last few years. Every club is spending, but the quality of football has not increased. Phil Neville was right after all. Can any of the premier league teams match the quality of PSG and Monaco in France, Bayern in Germany, Real Madrid , Barcelona Atletetico de Madrid in Spain, or Juventus in Italy.
We are been conned by the inflated European markets, selling low quality products to rich Britain. Expensive players who can’t do the basics and sometime its embarrassing to watch. Lets talk about Arsenal for example. We spent about £85 Million last summer but we did not improve the team in any way or form. I can even argue that the players that we bought were not better than the players that we have.
Ian Wright even said he doesn’t think Mustafi is better than Rob Holding for example. Has Xhaka made our midfield better? Elneny £5million and Xhaka £35 million, Is there really a massive difference in quality between this players? Mr Wenger was right after all. There’s money in the market but the quality in the market doesn’t reflect the spending the clubs are making.
As for this summer , we either go out for the best players in this positions or we buy no body at all. There’s absolutely no need in us Spending million on Players just for the sake of it or to please the fans. If the manager and coaching staff really believes that that the player would not improve us then don’t buy him.
Finally I spoke about us been ruthless, we should be capable of smelling blood. When we have a deal we must be ruthless, think about not getting Xabi alonso because of Denilson future, Not paying more for Suarez, Not paying more for higuain, Not bringing back Cesc fabregers because of Ozil. Top clubs buy players that would improve the squad. We need to keep this emotions far away. lets put Arsenal football club first.
Players To Sell.
Mesult Ozil, it is not just his body language or what the statistics are saying. He is lazy and is clearly not worth £250, 000 a week , not to talk of £300,000. For a few nice touches and a decent pass? £35 million, sell him take the money and run.
Jack Wilshere, Loads of injuries and would only get worse. He can’t be a new signing every year. We know how this story ends. £20 million take the money and run.
Elneny. Not good enough. £10 million seems fair.
Coquelin. Great heart but clearly not good enough for Arsenal. £15 million take it and run.
Ospina. Sell him for £10 Million to anyone. Good keeper but we have loads of them.
Giroud Sell him to Marseille or any Premier league club for £20 million . teams are desperate for Strikers. The fight against relegation is real. palace paid £30 million for benteke.
Gabrielle Sell him while we still Can. he has a mistake in him and the inability to say good morning after 3 years in England is insanity. We have to teach Portuguese to the entire team. £15 million is good money for him.
Joel campbell. Just sell him, whats the points of this loans, he doesn’t deserve this. £10 million
Lucas Perez. Will get 15 million for him easily. Strikers cost money and teams are desperate to stay in the league. he deserves to play and at his age we should sell him so he plays.
Gibbs. Wenger said he is not leaving but for me he should. £10 million is a good fee.
Cazorla. he is not getting any younger. this is the premier league. Bastian Schweinsteiger was a worlclass midfielder but with his injuries he couldn’t cope in England. Cazorla got broken down 2 years in a row. Am not sure if next season would be any different. We can’t build a team around and injured player. £10 million back to spain sounds good to me. Not to a premier league club. We need to forget about cazorla and Wilshere, we can’t have the new signing story season after season. May be we are losing our souls. But the big clubs all do this. They move injured players. We kept diaby for about 5 seasons with 1 leg.
Debuchy. Sell him for £5 million.
Carl Jekinson. Sell him for £5 million
Per . release him for free.
If we could get 100 to 150 million from this guys, that would be great.
Players TO BUY
Lukaku pay £75 million for him. he is better than what we have. No discussions. first touch could be improved but he is 24 years old. loads of time to improve. Good pace and finishing.
Radja Naingolan. This guy is no nonsense. he has work rate and he can break legs too. I rather have him in my team. £35 million will do just fine.
Steven Nzonzi. he has everything. he is tall , good passer of the ball physically strong and teams won’t bully us anymore and defending set pieces too would come in handy. £25 million. yues he use to play for stoke city but if you have any football brain u would know he is quality.
Douglas Costa. Unhappy at Bayern and it would only get worse with rumours of Julian Brandt signing as another winger , then kingsly Coman as well. Some body would have to make way. Ribery and Rubben are getting better with age.
Van Dijk I don’t care about the media hype. I have watched him and he is 1.93 m and he is good on the ball. Koscielny and Mustafi are great on the ball but they are very poor in the air. we need a more imposing Cb. This is the premier league. £50 million would do just fine.
Kolasanic. free transfer sounds good to me.
Chambers. recall from loan. has been part of one of the best defensive partnership in the league and has clearly leaned enough. would rather have him than Gabriel.
Szcsney: recall from loan, after the performances in Italy, especially this season, I have been very impressed.
My calculation shows we may spend in the upwards of 200 million. But if we sell this guys then its all good cause net spending could be about 80 million. It is not realistic for a club like arsenal to be this ruthless. people would say this is not football manager. But this club is carrying so many passengers and we have been doing this for years. ti,e to start from scratch.
