Why Arsenal MUST risk all in Munich

There is a feeling that Arsene Wenger has a tough task ahead of him with the Arsenal team selection for the Champions League away game against Bayern Munich. Our hopes of getting out of the group are still pretty thin and with the heavy injury list and the north London derby to come, perhaps it would be wise to rest a few key players.

I think, however, that this week is a time when Arsene Wenger must take the risk and trust to luck. If we finish the game in Germany having lost another key player like Giroud, Ozil, Cazorla, Koscielny or Coquelin it will be a massive blow.

But it could be even more damaging if we get absolutely tanked by the Germans and the after effects could lead to a poor run of results that does just as much damage to our Premier League title hopes as another injury would. On the other hand, imagine how much of a morale boost it would be if the Gunners field a strong side and get another good result against what could be the best club side in the world right now.

The belief is growing in the Arsenal squad and another good game against Bayern would only strengthen it. So is it time for Wenger to be brave and forget about the injury concerns?
