Why Arsenal WILL start FA cup final with Szczesny!

There have been many Arsenal transfer rumours in the last couple of months that have focused on the keeper situation at the club and most of them seem to think that Arsene Wenger is going to sign a top class player to help Arsenal push on and become a team capable of winning the Premier League title.

And the player likely to suffer the most if this does happen is our Poland international Wojciech Szczesny. So why should Wenger start him in the FA cup final you may ask? Well for one thing, it has been the policy of the Gunners, just like many clubs these days, to use the second choice keeper in the cups.

We did the same with Lukasz Fabianski last season and that meant that Shezzer missed out on the Wembley final so it would be really harsh if he missed out again this year in favour of Ospina. And the story goes that Szczesny will only leave the club on loan, if at all, this summer and is still seen by the boss as a future Arsenal number one.

It would not just be a sentimental decision either as the 24-year old is still a very good keeper. He will also be desperate to prove himself and his ability has never been in doubt, just his attitude and concentration. So for me it is an easy choice for the Frenchman. Do you agree?
