Will Kolasinac free transfer see HUGE Arsenal striker signing?

Arsene Wenger has suggested that Arsenal may still struggle to compete with the really big hitters like Man City and Man United in the transfer market this summer, suggesting that he may have to restrict himself to just two of three signings.

So with the rumour going around the football media that the Frenchman will have something like £150 million to spend on new players we were looking at an average spend of £50 million on each, which is certainly good news in terms of getting the right quality into our squad.

Many expect a striker and a defender to be among the new additions, but according to The Sun and other media sources we could be about to complete the signing of a very highly rated defender on a free transfer. The man in question is 23-year old Sead Kolasinac who has been impressing in the German Bundesliga for Schalke and has come to the end of his contract, hence the free transfer.

The Bosnian international is mainly used as a left back but also has the versatility to play in any defensive role as well as in midfield, so he sounds like a fantastic asset for Arsenal to have. On top of this the lack of a fee could mean that Wenger is able to raise his sights in the serach for a striker, maybe even someone like Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund.

Would you prefer Arsenal to really splurge on a big name striker or for Wenger to sign another three players of good but not top quality along with Kolasinac?
