Will PSG interest give Arsenal’s #WengerOut fans their wish?

Paris Saint-Germain are claimed to be ready to pull out all the stops to finally bring Arsene Wenger in from Arsenal this summer.

The French giants are struggling in Ligue 1 this term under Unai Emery, who joined from Seville to take over from Laurent Blanc in the summer, and they now find themselves in the battle to return to the top of the table.

PSG currently sit seven points behind Nice in first, with Monaco sitting between the pair, and appear likely to invest in their squad next month, and are already strongly linked with Julian Draxler.

The German winger is known to have been a long-term target of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who they are now said to be strongly interested in attracting to the Parc Des Princes.

The Arsenal manager has revealed previously that he has turned down the advances of the French club, but he is well into his final year of his contract, with no official news of an extension being on the table.

The PSG owners are claimed to be looking to offer Arsene a pay rise to make the switch to his homeland, with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi ready to go on a huge spending spree to enhance his club’s dominance on home soil, with the likelihood of progressing in their bid to win the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger has brought plenty of glory to the Gunners, from winning the Premier League whilst going unbeaten, before helping the club through an important phase in their history, guiding them through tough financial issues whilst building the new top of the range stadium, and still kept us in the top four throughout.

I fear the day when he finally does leave the club, as I’m not sure any other coach could keep us challenging for honours like we are whilst sticking to the budgets of the current owners.

Are you #WengerOut or #Wenger in? Do the out fans really believe we could improve under a new manager with the same financial policy in place?
