Winning without Alexis proves EPL title is Arsenal’s

It was just over three weeks ago now that it looked as if things were falling apart big time for Arsenal. A bad November was turned into a nightmare when our talisman striker Alexis Sanchez got the injury we had been fearing in the final game of the month at Norwich City.

So for Arsenal to have coped so well without the Chile international, especially in the big clash with Man City tonight when we were all hoping to have him back, has been a fantastic achievement for Arsene Wenger and the Gunners.

And in my opinion it has given our Premier League title credentials a massive boost. The performances of Campbell and Walcott have given the manager a great option and should allow him to give Alexis a rest every now and then and hopefully that will help the Chilean to avoid another injury.

THat in itself will give our chances of being champions a huge boost. But just as big has been the team spirit that Arsenal have showed to cope without Alexis and other key players like Coquelin and Cazorla. Man City gave us a real test tonight but if a weakened Arsenal can come through that, who can doubt our ability to keep going and win the title?
