Would any Arsenal fan turn down an £8m bonus to move to Everton?

So it would appear that a bidding war for Jack Wilshere’s services is about to begin in earnest as other club’s attempt to persuade the English international to leave Arsenal this summer. Arsene Wenger has repeatedly stated that there is a contract on the table for Jack to sign, and even offered him a pen, but it now looks unlikely that he will agree as he is guaranteed to get more wages elsewhere as well as a big signing on fee.

It has been reported that Everton are the first to put their cards on the table and will offer Jack an £8m signing-on bonus as an added incentive before the wages are even discussed.

I am not sure how this could even be true unless the Merseyside club are just putting out feelers, as legally the Toffees (nor any other Premier League club) are not even allowed to discuss a transfer with Jack until the end of the season, which means he will probably be inundated with offers from English clubs after June, especially if he plays well at the World Cup.

But he IS allowed to talk to foreign clubs right now, and the AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso made it clear he admires Jack this week, and Merseyside’s favourite paper (S*N!) is reporting that Wilshere pretended to be interested in a move to Real Betis in La Liga to try and get Arsenal to increase their contract offer.

Whether any of these stories are true is a matter of conjecture at the moment, but if Jack continues to maintain his form and fitness to the end of the season he will be in for a massive bonus this summer, even if he re-signs at the Emirates.

Do you think he will just move for the money? Or will he just wait for Arsenal to match his best offer?
