Would Arsenal fans accept a big money bid for Bellerin?

We had one of our worst summers this year with many of our unwanted players failing to find new clubs, and, according to rumours, some of our established players looking to move away like Mustafi, Alexis and Hector Bellerin. It would have been the perfect time to get a massive transfer fee for Bellerin from Barcelona (and from Man City for Sanchez) but Arsene Wenger refused to sell either of them.

January may be a different matter altogether though, with Alexis performing way below his best he could easily get his wish to get away if the right offer comes in, but what about Bellerin?

The young Spaniard is still only 22 and with another 4 years to go on his contract we should be able to secure an even bigger fee, with Juventus also rumoured to be interested in acquiring his services after losing Dani Alves to PSG last summer. The Old Lady are currently looking for their 7th Serie A title in a row but are not finding it so easy in this campaign with Napoli in blistering form above them in the table.

Bellerin was brilliant when he burst into the Gunners First team a few seasons back, but last year his performances dropped off and he was even left out of the side for a while in favour of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and he often seems more interested in how his hair looks than making blistering runs down the wing.

Obviously Arsenal won’t sell him unless they can get an equivalent replacement, but with a gigantic fee for Hector we could surely tempt another top class right-back to replace him, couldn’t we?

Or do you think we should keep him against his wishes and hope he grows into the world-class player we were hoping for…
