Xhaka IS better but Arsenal to prefer Ramsey against Burnley

Next up for Arsenal in the Premier League is a home game against Burnley on Sunday and it is one we definitely have to win and also one that the Arsenal fans will be expecting to win with some ease, although things do not always work out the way we expect them to.

To be fair to the Clarets they are going along very nicely under Sean Dyche this season, as they currently sit in the top half of the table and are through to the fourth round of the FA cup. Do not expect them to too adventurous though, because all of their success has been built on their home form, with 25 of the 26 EPL points coming from games at Turf Moor.

Even their FA cup win over Sunderland was completed at home after they drew the match in the north east to earn a replay. So I can confidently predict that Dyche’s hopes of increasing the away tally of a single point will be based on some rugged defending and that is why I expect Wenger to go for Aaron Ramsey ahead of Granit Xhaka on Sunday. There is no doubt that Xhaka has improved a lot and learned to adat to the EPL since joining in the summer but I think he is set to be on the bench for this one.

With Coquelin back from injury the Gunners do not need more defensive solidity but more creativity and goal threat and even though the Swiss international has a good long range shot and has more goals than his Welsh teammate, Ramsey is the more attack minded player and his goal against Preston will hopefully lead to more.

Is Rambo the man to help Arsenal break down Burnley?
