With Arsenal having so far during the current season further increased our reputation for playing fluent and attractive football that is often more focused on the creative and attacking side of the game, you might think that the Arsenal players most likely to have made the Premier League team of the season so far would be from that side of the team.
There are a quite few candidates as well, with Mesut Ozil in majestic form and having added goals to his creative talents, Theo Walcott looking like a new player who really means business, young Alex Iwobi grabbing lots of headlines and Alexis Sanchez revelling in his new role as the Arsenal centre forward.
None of these Gunners made the cut in the XI chosen on the basis of the Sky Sports power rankings. There are two of our players in there, however, but you might be surprised to see that it is our keeper Petr Cech and the French central defender Laurent Koscielny included in the XI listed below.

Walker better than Bellerin, really? Obviously this has been picked because of the stats and we know they do not tell the whole story, so which Arsenal players do you think should be in there and why?

I don’t know abt u but I feel the two players we just cant afford to lose are kos the boss and alexis…I mean where on earth would we find an attacker that fights for the ball like his life depends on it……I mean sanchez plays like someone who has been threatened to return back to poverty…hes a beast whos cage key has been thrown away….
Costa 9 goals 3 assists.
Aguero 8 goals.
Lukaku 7 goals 3 assists.
Hazard 7 goals 1 assist, Alexis 6 goals 3 assists.
Firminho should not be in the team, Mane has more goals than him, and Mane has 6. Lukaku or Aguero should take Firminho spot, Id give it to Lukaku. And why aren’t defensive midfielders getting rewarded, Kante got acknowledged last season. This season Coquelin has been excellent for the most part, I haven’t seen a better ball winner throughout midfield. As for the Spu fullback, he’s arguably been their best player, well the most consistent anyway.
Liverpool fans…really..i don’t get whats so special abt firmino..he aint skilful like an average brazillian…hes slow…bet Liverpool got the worst brazillians ever…lucas and firmino
I’m sorry but Bellerin is definitely better than Walker. That I can definitely agree with. The omission of Alexis and Ozil is a different story.
