Another player being considered as a replacement for Aaron Ramsey – (plus video)

It seems that almost every single midfielder in Europe and South America is being considered as a replacement for the soon to depart Aaron Ramsey, and you can now throw the name of Kerem Demirbay into the mix.

German outlet Bild is claiming that not only are we interested in the Hoffenheim star but that contact has actually been made with the club.

The 25-year-old is a former youth international for Turkey, however, he has switched to represent Germany and has made two senior appearances for the national team.

Demirbay is apparently available for just £22 million due to a release clause in his contract, a fee that we can easily afford, and Arsenal have reportedly informed Hoffenheim that they are prepared to pay that figure.

We are not the only club interested in the player though, it turns out that unnamed clubs in Turkey are also keen on signing the attacking midfielder.

Demirbay has knocked in four goals so far this season and provided eight assists and while that is not prolific it is the sort of return to be expected from a player in his position.

I must confess that I know very little about Demirbay but what I have seen of him on youtube he does look half decent and could be a good choice to replace Ramsey, so it is encouraging that we have made contact with his club.

You can judge for yourselves with this video….
