Arsenal simply MUST beat Chelsea on Sunday

Arsenal simply have to beat Chelsea on Sunday‏ by KM

Hello everybody. What’s up? The Premier league is coming back with a bang this week and we have another one of those games that we have a psychological problem with – Chelsea. At home or away, the Blues are one of our worst opponents.

Ever since the money era rolled over the Bridge we’ve struggled against Chelsea, but on Sunday, we’ll be odds-on favourites to win the game. It’s astonishing how Chelsea have slumped this year, with them being some hefty 19 points behind us.

In football though it all comes down to the performance on the day and we will have to be at our very best to beat a team that still is the champions of England. Despite the fact the media tried to push Wenger into Mourinho as the manager in failure who got sacked, they’ll still be up for a fight.

The good news in our side come from the fact that Ozil and Sanchez are likely to be available for this game. This is a major plus because Ozil should be fresh, from missing Stoke and the return of Alexis means someone else will soon drop his place in the starting line-up.

I believe Theo and Campbell will be looking over their shoulder, and for me Theo is under the biggest threat. Despite making 10 years at the club this week, his contribution on the left or the right has been not great and Giroud has cemented his CF place.

In more good news, Coquelin is coming back to full training ahead of schedule and we’ve really missed him and Cazorla in midfield. Welbeck is also supposed to start full training soon and maybe this boost will give us enough strength to push over the line for the title.

With our tricky away trips to our main rivals, the home games will no doubt be key. Hopefully we’ll start on Sunday.

Enjoy your weekend.

  1. I’m sure that we will all have a Great week,
    (Let alone weekend)
If we Smash those Chavs on Sunday!

  2. It is all relative to the
    results of our competitors
    Leicester and City.
    Our dropped points
at Liverpool and Stoke were balanced
by City’s failure to beat Everton at the Etihad
and Villa holding Leicester to a draw.
So if City drop points at WH we are under
less pressure to win v Chelsea.
In fact City playing before us allows Wenger
to tailor his team selection. If City win he may well
start Sanchez if City lose he may give Sanchez
another week to recover and start Elneny.
By the way Leicester is now out of all cup
competitions so can now focus on just the EPL.

  3. something tells me there’d be another OPPORTUNITY arising today……..since citeh, Leicester and Manure play today

are we going to Throw that away once again/ as usual?…….that remains to be seen of what our performance would Look Like 2moro

Hope the Britannia expedition become the Last of our miserLy!

  4. Hoping a few results go our way today to take the pressure slightly off tomorrws game with chelsea. If we are relaxed i have no doubt we can beat these ones but nervous then we could be in trouble. Now dont forget that Alexis is just back cant be expecting miracles on his 1st game back, needs match fitness, though in saying that the mans a machine when he gets going im sure hes chomping at the bit to get at Chelsea at the Emirates! Ozil wasnt injured imo Wenger rested him for stoke to save him for tomorrow as chelsea will drop even further down with a loss, he knows this is a huge game for them and our own ambitions to beat all the big boys, make the Emirates a fortress and win the league so we have be on tune!

Last results now dont matter its what happens from today onwards. We are top for now depending on results today so sit back enjoy the footy, maybe put a bet on and hope for City/Leicester mess ups.
