Arsenal to take on Man Utd for Serie A outcast claim reports

Arsenal prepared to battle Man Utd for the signature of Merih Demiral.

Arsenal may be returning to the transfer market in the next two months as they look to fix their leaky defence.

The Gunners have struggled this season despite signing David Luiz from Chelsea. They have conceded 14 goals in their opening 10 league games of the season.

Before moving for Luiz on deadline day, one of their defensive targets was Merih Demiral.

The 21 years old Turkish defender, however, made a move to Juventus instead. But he has struggled for game time and has played just one league game for the Old Ladies.

Reports in Italy claim that the defender has grown unsettled because of the lack of game time and could request a transfer in the coming transfer window if he doesn’t play more.

Manchester United was another team who wanted to sign him over the summer. The Red Devils signed Harry Maguire instead after they failed to land Demiral.

Demiral remains one of the best young defenders in Europe at the moment and a move to the Emirates could solve Arsenal’s defensive issues and also help him get more game time.

Manchester United seem to have settled for their back three now and may decide not to make a move for him, this could allow Arsenal to sign a promising defender and possibly save their season.

    1. Our Defence is mediocre. Sokratis was a poor signing. Mustafi continues to be poor

If Emery consistently used Bellerin..Holding..Luiz/Chambers.. Tierney for PL matches we would do better defensively

      For other matches try
      Chambers.Mustafi.Sokratis..Kolsanic

But we NEED at least one Solid, proven CB. That should be a priority
