Arsenal host Norwich City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening, in what could prove to have a huge impact at both ends of the table.
The Canaries come into the match having dropped into the relegation zone only last week, and with only three matches remaining after this one, they will be desperate to get to something out of this match.
Arsenal on the flip side have dropped to within five points of Manchester United in fifth place, with the Red Devils holding a game in hand on us. We also are desperate to secure the three points this weekend, but we are not impressing currently.
Despite remaining unbeaten in our last six outings, we have drawn three of our last four matches in the league, and another draw could cost us our place within the top-four.
One positive which will hopefully get us back on track this weekend is the news that we have a full squad of players available for the first time this season, although Oxlade-Chamberlain will not return after only one week of full training. Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere could be in line to start, although the former will likely begin the match on the bench.
Predicted starting XI:
Cech
Bellerin Koscielny Mertesacker Monreal
Wilshere Coquelin
Ramsey Sanchez Ozil
Welbeck
Anything but a win today would be devastating, and I’m sure our boys will be able to make the most of today and come away as comfortable winners. I don’t expect us to take too many chances and leave the defence open in the first-half, and will build on the lead once we get ahead. In my head it will be 3-0, and I’m looking forward to seeing Santi return.
