Arsenal’s unwanted Wilshere set for Man United transfer?

If this happens it would be a massive Arsenal transfer story that would surely open a fierce debate among Arsenal fans and could end up with being yet another stick used to beat our under fire manager.

The Arsenal transfer rumours about Jack Wilshere and a possible move to play for our old rivals Manchester United are still in the embryonic stage, as reported by Metro, but with the Gunners already having more options in the central midfield area where Jack plays there is a good chance that his loan season at AFC Bournemouth is not going to be enough to earn him a return to play for his beloved Arsenal.

Wilshere would surely prefer to keep playing for Arsenal where he has been since being nine years old but if he is not wanted by Wenger then he will probably be looking for a big club in the Premier League, and according to one former player Mickey Gray he would be perfect for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

The Old Trafford club could certainly do with adding some guile to their struggling midfield and I reckon that Mourinho would love the idea of taking one of Wenger’s former favourites and then making the Frenchman regret letting him go.

Could this transfer really be on the cards?
