Big boost for Arsenal after latest Serie A results

Roma are now in serious danger of missing out on qualifying for next seasons Champions League and that is good news for us.

We have been linked with their attacking midfielder Cengiz Under for some time now and according to reports from the Italian press, if the Romans end up in the Europa League they will be forced to sell some of their best assets including Under.

Roma are now three points behind fourth-placed Atalanta which in effect is four points because of Atalanta’s superior goal difference which comes into effect when head to head results are the same.

They had a chance to close the gap but a 91st-minute equaliser from Genoa saw them collect just the one point on Sunday when they desperately needed all three.

Turkish international Under is highly thought of, he is just 21-year-old, has already played ten times for Turkey and scored eight goals from 32 appearances this season including five appearances and one goal in the Champions League.

He is seen as more of a winger than anything else but can fit into an attacking midfielder position comfortably.

Signing Under would be a massive addition to our squad, he is very young but has already proven himself on the highest stage and if Roma is forced to sell him we can only hope that the rumours of us being interested in signing him are accurate.

  1. So basically they are in the same boat as Arsenal, if we end up in the europey league, we too will have a tiny budget and will have no choice but to sell some players. Others might not fancy a third season without champions league football.

  2. Today i read that leroy sane is not so happy at city…i think thats bs, but i would love arsenal trying to sign him…i rate sane better than zaha…that’s how bad i think we hace felt…crying for players that cant do it for utd and are worst than bench players of those teams that we are supposed to be competing
