Confirmed Arsenal team to take on Sporting at the Emirates… Very strong indeed!

Okay so Arsenal are aiming for a 15th undefeated game in a row tonight and we can secuere our place in the knockout stages if we win yet again.

I expected a strong line-up, although that may not happen for the net two legs. Here is the team I predicted earlier…

Cech
Bellerin.. Mustafi.. Holding.. Lichtsteiner
Maitland-Niles.. Guendouzi.. Ramsey
Mhkitaryan.. Aubameyang.. Welbeck

And here is Emery’s confirmed Arsenal team…

We only have Jenkinson and Sokratis instead of Bellerin and Mustafi, and Smith-Rowe instead of Aubameyang.

Not bad for me!

It’s great to see the young Smith-Rowe who seems to score every time he plays…

  1. Apart from Cech not one left footer and as such the team lacks balance.Compare this with Man City who have 5/6 lefties most weeks.I’m surprised Kolasinac does not start which means Monreal is not near returning.I would have preferred AMN for Mik who will be under pressure to perform tonight.I expect us to win.

    1. Does it matter? must you always find a fault?
The last cup I won in high school, my team had no left footer and the opposing team had like 4 and we still won, on penalties though

  2. A lot more responsibility for Guendouzi hope he handles it well…

Mhkitaryan time to earn some that dam lotto money ur on hope he has a good one.

  3. i dont consider this strong enough without Lacazette or Aubameyang
Sporting is a very good side
    Hope its enough

  4. almost full strength team in early stages…technically it can be considered full strength apart from Smith

          1. man that is so sad, maybe it’s only a bad sprain?… if not we will really miss him for these weekday matches (probably have to buy in winter) not to mention no shot of selling him before his contract expires

  5. Even if we draw this match, I’m satisfied. It’s been a long gone feeling, Arsenal going into a match and the fans expect a win, and feel like they lost the match even when they draw.
    Long may it last.
    COYG!
