Crystal Palace v Arsenal Preview, Team News, Line-Up and Score Prediction – An easy win?

Welcome to yet another day of pressure on Arsenal to keep up their winning run as we travel to Selhurst Park to take on the mighty Palace, who are yet to win a home game this season and haven’t even scored one goal. The Eagles have never enjoyed playing the Gunners throughout their history and have incredibly only beaten us 4 times out of 43 meetings in all competitions.

So here is Palace’s home form this season…..

Whereas Arsenal are incredible form and are now seemingly unstoppable now they have adapted to Unai Emery’s training and tactics. Here is the Gunners away form in the League….

So on paper this should be another easy win for the Gunners, but we have to be wary considering that this is our third game in just six days. Even Emery admits that he has respect for Hodgson’s team. “When I was in France and in Spain, I would sometimes watch the Premier League and Crystal Palace is a team that doesn’t have a lot of big names in it, like the best teams in the Premier League. But they have very good players and produce very good performances. You watch it and say, ‘These players are very good and they have a very big level to play against the best teams’.

“Now I am here and I am watching, and I know that Crystal Palace is a very good team with very good players, with a very good coach and a lot of experience in the Premier League. For us, the respect is very big. I think they deserve more points in the Premier League and they deserve to be higher in the table, and for us it’s about having the respect and then preparing well for this match if we are to beat them.”

If there is one thing we can be sure of under Emery is that our team will be prepared well, and the way that Arsenal have rotated over the last few games has been very well controlled.

As for team news, We are still not sure if Monreal or Kolasinac are fit, but hopefully they both will be available, so looking at our recent rotation this is the team that I am predicting will play today….

Cech
Bellerin Sokratis Mustafi Monreal
Guendouzi Torreira Ramsey
Iwobi, Lacazette, Ozil

The great thing about Emery is that no-one really knows who he will pick from one game to the next. I think Cech will be brought back but I simply cannot be sure, and I wonder if Ramsey will be dropped after his outburst about his contract, but I am very sure whoever plays will be up for it and will take all three points.

I predict a usual 3-0 win and more misery for Hodgson. Palace could drop into the relegation zone today and their next three games are against Chelsea, Tottenham and Man United. It’s not looking good for Woy….
