Emery’s Arsenal line-up confirmed for BATE challenge

Arsenal’s team has been announced for tonight´s Europa League encounter with BATE Borisov, with a strong team set out to overturn last week’s deficit.

The Gunners lost the away leg 1-0, and will have to win tonight’s match by two clear goals, or we may well find ourselves eliminated on away goals, which would be devastating.

Our current league form has seen us rise up to fifth in the Premier League table, but Manchester United are the clear favourites to complete that fourth spot in the table, meaning our best bet at Champions League football for next season may well be through the EL.

Unai Emery has given his line-up today the strength that it deserves, with a more no inexperienced players given the nod for the first time in the competition this season.

Petr Cech continues his role in the competition, but the likes of Chris Willock, Nketiah, Sala and Maitland-Niles all miss out. Mesut Ozil also finds himself back into the team, although in the absence of Alexandre Lacazette.

This team should have more than enough in the locker to come away with a convincing win at the Emirates tonight, and we should be cemented in the draw for the next stage. The only worry is that if Aubameyang was to have an off-day today, there is little in the rest of the team to give me confidence of scoring goals.

Does this line-up put too much responsibility on the goalscorer? Will this be a routine reversal?
