It may be annoying for Arsenal fans to hear Jose Mourinho regularly aiming digs at Arsene Wenger and our club and I agree with our manager and others like the Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini who have criticised the Chelsea boss for the way he talks about other clubs and rival managers, but there is only one real way for us to rise above all the mind games and that is to beat him. Do we really care if he disrespects us if we beat him? I would love him to prove that he is just as bad a lose as he is a winner.
From his recent comments about it being more boring to not win a title than it is to play negative and defensive football, it is clear that winning is all that matters to Mourinho, no matter what you have to do to achieve it. I am not suggesting that the Gunners play in the same way as all his teams end up doing, because I love the entertaining football that we have had at Arsenal under Wenger.
But the prof has been a bit more pragmatic this season, especially in the big games against our Premier League rivals. And he must continue to do that next season as we really want to see the smug grin wiped off Mourinho´s face. We want the title of course but in order to do that I think we have to get over the obstacle of the Chelsea bus.
Do that and I think the Premier League trophy will be ours next year. What do you think Gooners?
