Injury issues to help Arsenal beat Tottenham in NLD?

Things could change over the next couple of weeks and, knowing the luck that Arsenal tends to get with injury problems then it probably will, but right now it looks like the respective injury issues at our club and our north London rivals Tottenham are going in our favour for the upcoming derby.

Arsenal will probably need some luck as well as a good performance to get anything from our Premier League away game at Man City this weekend and with the spuds having a home game with struggling Crystal Palace we may well be more than a game away from our rivals when they come to the Emirates after the international break, so the Gunners really need to win that.

Our chances of doing it have been handed a double boost this week as the Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris and their first choice centre back Toby Alderweireld picked up knocks during their Champions League win over Real Madrid. There is a chance that one or both could be fit in time to face us but they are major doubts at this moment.

At the same time, we expect to have Mustafi and Welbeck available again and put together this would hand Arsenal a big advantage ahead of the crucial clash. Cross your fingers Gooners…

  1. I didn’t think the day would come that Spuds would be so much better than us but they are
    Cech = Lloris
Alderweild and Vertonghen > Mustafi and Koscielny
    Aurier & Rose = Bellerin & Kolsanic
    Wanyama/Sissoko/Dembele > Coquelin/Xhaka/Ramsey
    Ericksen > Ozil
    Alli/Son > Welbeck/Walcott/Iwobi
    Lamela Lacazette
Our biggest problem that Wenger did not rectify this summer is central midfield. Ozil is inconsistent. Lemar, Draxler or Mahrez would improved us because they can play in Ozil’s position. Also, behind Ozil, Cazorla made Ozil look good. We don’t have enough quality in back of Central midfield be it a top holding midfielder or top box 2 box.
Furthermore, we should have signed another top Central defender especially for 3 at the back but also due to injuries.
Wenger has made us very vulnerable. Next year I predict the “Wenger Out” placards will be out at the Emirates

    1. I am soory Mitch but how is erikson better than ozil? I hate people who judges ozil because of his body language. Look at his bloody stats. No one has created more chances or provided more assists than ozil since he arrived in 2013/14 season. He probably would have way more assists if he had better strikers at his disposal. He was assisting giroud and walcott for many seasons before lacazette arrived. Yes he has been pretty awful this season but I hate it when people say he is one of the worst players in the league when the stats suggest he is actually one of the best cams in the league if not the best. And spurs only have a better defense than us. You make it seem spurs are the best side in the world!

      1. Sentiment won’t allow your brain to function properly..how can you compare that lazy Ozil to Eriksen….Eriksen always perform very well, week in week out…. he doesn’t go into hiding in big matches…. no one has created more assists or more scoring chances than Debruyne and Eriksen since 2015…. Cazorla is even far better than Ozil… we would have been playing in the Champions League now had Cazorla been fit

    2. Mahrez will not improve us ….maybe just a little

his stock has fallen….only Marseille is interested in him

he has himself to blame for signing a new deal when he has the intend to leave

  2. ahahahahaha!!! Vertoghen/alderweird better than kos/mustafi??? Seriously that dude is drunk. Rose better than kolasinac??? What is that dude smoking lolsssss!!! Nt grass…maybe dried shit wrapped in ritzler. Dude dnt allow angriness blind your judgment.

  3. Has it really come to these needing injuries to our opponent to beat them have we become that low?? Are we arsenal… The team no one could dread facing we won b4 a ball was kicked!!!! How times change
