Kolasinac looking for repeat performance against Tottenham

Sead Kolasinac was Arsenal’s first signing of last summer’s transfer window and he started the season in fine form with his agressive style and great attacking vision. He seems to have fallen a bit out of favour with Wenger at the moment, but he is hoping he will be in the team tomorrow and is looking forward to beating Tottenham again tomorrow after playing in his first North London derby back in November.

“You notice the tension before the game,” Sead said on Arsenal.com. “When you come out onto the pitch, you realise that the fans are fully there.

“It’s a very special game for the club and it was a special one for me, because it was my first one with Arsenal. I’m pleased that we won it and I hope further victories will follow.

“I think we approached the derby the way you need to. We were aggressive without the ball and calm with it. We scored our first through a set-piece, which was decisive.

“Once we were in front, it was clear that Tottenham needed to push more and we had the quality to score the second.

“We did that in the first half and then in the second half, we defended really well and didn’t concede. That was decisive.”

Before we played that game, Arsenal had just had a pasting from Manchester City, and the Spuds were on a high after beating Real Madrid. Everyone was salivating about how brilliant our rivals were and nobody gave us any chance of winning the game. But we proved them wrong and we must do the same thing tomorrow. This game is absolutely massive for our season and their is no room for error.

Stick the Tank on and let him show them no mercy!
