Man United planning transfer swoop for Arsenal star?

While the Arsenal fans may be hoping for a change at the top this summer, with Arsene Wenger’s long spell as our manager more likely than ever to come to an end, there could be a lot of changes in the dressing room as well. No doubt there will be a lot of clubs in the Premier League and abroad hoping to take advantage of the situation at Arsenal and one of the first could be our old EPL rivals Manchester United.

According to The Mirror the first Arsenal player that Jose Mourinho will try to sign this summer is our England international star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and the Portuguese may be willing to let the United centre back Chris Smalling come to the Emirates as part of the deal.

I don’t know about the rest of you Arsenal fans but I do not like the idea of selling the Ox to United. The lad has huge potential and if Wenger is leaving I would like to see the new manager given a chance to get the best out of him. If Wenger does stay then maybe we should think about letting the Ox go and I do like the idea of Arsenal signing Smalling.

What do you think about the Ox and these Arsenal transfer rumours?

  1. I would take Smalling for Ox
They are worth apprx same transfer fee
We can always use another good CB
We have plenty of forwards and if we want another Top forward then we will need to let more than one go

Actually, Mourinho would be stupid to make this happen.

    1. That sounds good to me ??
But it’s highly unlikely, what with Mo being Mo ??
I read that Utd will offer £30 million for Ox.

  2. Smalling turned us down for Manure so fu*k him.
I would rather sell Ozil than the Ox, he is always trying his best and will get better with age.
