Will Man Utd replay help or hinder Arsenal in Premier League?

I would much rather it was Arsenal having to face another FA cup replay as that would mean that we had not lost at home to Watford and would still be on for the record of three FA cup trophy wins in a row. As things stand, though, Arsenal only have the Premier League left to worry about.

Of course we are all hoping that the next eight games will be a fight for the EPL title as we catch up to and overtake Tottenham and Leicester, but there is also a very real possibility that the Gunners will be dragged into a fight for the top four.

Either way, any help that comes our way will be very welcome so the scheduling of the FA cup replay between Manchester United and West Ham looks interesting. Both of these clubs are on 50 points which is just five behind Arsenal with the same number of games left to play, so they are both potential top four contenders.

And all three of the title contenders are involved in games against them around the replay date of April 13th, as a Sky Sports report explains. West Ham host Arsenal on the Saturday before the Wednesday of the replay and they travel to Leicester the Sunday after it. Man United are away to Spurs the Sunday before the cup match, so you see how this replay throws up all sorts of possibilities.

Only time will tell, of course, but I am hoping that Arsenal benefit and the fact that Slaven Bilic has said he wants the cup more than the top four and so might rest some key players against us to give his team a better chance of getting to Wembley. Do you think the date of this replay will have any bearing on the title race?
