It was a great start to the game and Unai Emery was fully justified in choosing Martinelli to start the game, and you can’t knock a youngster who scores a goal every time he is on the pitch.
Gabriel Martinelli scored two goals against Nottingham Forest on his full debut and given the chance again he scored withing 13 minutes of tonight’s game against Standard Liege.

Martinelli style and finishing remind me a lot of young Van Persie. The movement, the angle of goal, and the element of surprise. He must get the chance of first team football a.s.a.p
