The new Arsenal summer striker signing Danny Welbeck seems to have adapted pretty well to his new club, both with his performances and in the way he has settled in with the rest of his Arsenal team mates. It might well have helped the 23-year old that there were already a few familiar faces from the England national team and one of those players, our left back Kieran Gibbs, has given another example of how much Welbeck is loving life as a Gunner.
In a Daily Mail report, Gibbs has revealed that our centre forward is now part of the group he calls the `southern table` when on international duty now and this is the first time he has joined up with England after being part of the Arsenal dressing room.
And after Welbeck spent 13 years as part of the Man United set up and has been playing with the likes of Wayne Rooney for almost all that time, as well as having been involved with England since 2006 at an underage level, his feeling such a part of Arsenal already just highlights how happy Welbeck is and that he feels he has definitely made the right decision to join us.
Of course the fact that Danny has been in the goals for both club and country since making the deadline day transfer has helped and hopefully this will just be the start of a long and distinguished career as an Arsenal and England centre forward.
Lets get behind danny welbeck and support him, as well as the team! Coyg!
he gives us another dimension, plus he gets on great with the other english lads-
british core of young lads with supreme talent-
your right muff
he gives us lots more attributes im still looking forward to giroud coming back
as they can both offer different things and playing together would be good aswell ,,i think danny should give up on the volleys for a while though 🙂 but i supose he did set the ox up with that lovley dummy ,,
He will produce just give him time and patience!
Rumours are circulating that we are interested in mats hummels, in the january transfer window!
@Greg
If only…
absolute pile of steamin’ horse sh*t
we are not getting matt hummels / marco reus / edinson cavani
im literally saying this non stop every window
@muffdiver
It’s the thought that counts…Lol
It is obvious you have not learned your lessons about Arsenal and transfer rumours – they don’t get along.
Wellbeck fits the Arsenal
DNA, good but not stella.
Wellbeck is not the “super striker ”
many desire but value for money
16 mill, half the price of Benzema and Higuian.
I predict 20 EPL goals for Wellbeck and 10 assists
an excellent return.
A good DM like kondogbia would be a welcome signing in the january window! Coyg!
and a CB like Virgil van Dijk ! would be over the moon if we got both ! No way we will get Hummels for 30 million
Good. But I need goals.
Will Walcott be fit for our next game? I always feel we’re playing our B team when Walcott isn’t playing 😉
Just love danny welbeck’s workrate on the pitch! Coyg!
I like him and think he will come good, but Welbeck is still a work in progress his performance was very poor vs Chelsea in our last game he was the worst player on the pitch.
He got a 11/2 star rating from squawka stats for the game but yet still everyone jumped on ozil.
The best player on the pitch that game was flamini he got a 5* rating from squawka and had a 80% tackle success rate along with his 90+pass accuracy
1.5star rating (same as kosc an sczezney )
What was the point of this article?

I love welback’s workrate and his sense of sacrifice for the team. let’s support him and the whole team.
