Official Arsenal team and preview of Swansea at home

If Arsenal fans were looking for any help as the struggling Gunners aim to get our Premier League title challenge going again, perhaps you will see the fact that Swansea City will be without their manager Francesco Guidolin as a good omen. He is not seriously ill but has been taken in with a chest infection.

Knowing our luck though, the Swansea players will give extra effort for their absent boss but Arsenal just have to make sure that we do our own jobs properly and get the win we so badly need.

There are some changes to the Arsenal starting line-up which is hardly surprising after the lame effort the team put on at Old Trafford, but not many would have expected it to be Koscielny that dropped out for Mertesacker. The fact that the French defender is not even on the bench tells me that this was not a choice by the boss.

Welbeck also misses out but is on the bench along with the misfiring Theo Walcott, so Giroud is back as our centre forward with Alexis Sanchez and Joel Campbell either side and Mesut Ozil to supply the ammunition. Hopefully someone can start hitting the target.

Cech
Bellerin, Mertesacker, Gabriel, Monreal
Ramsey, Coquelin
Campbell, Ozil, Sanchez
Giroud

Subs: Ospina, Chambers, Gibbs, Elneny, Flamini, Walcott, Welbeck

This Arsenal XI and subs bench should be way too much for the visitors, but which Arsenal will we see tonight?

no assist from ozil today , so what are the new excuses ????? Can’t we get a better no. 10 who will contribute with goals as well and try to tackle or put a fighting spirit in our team..
I say again Ozil is the worst no. 10 Arsenal has had in the last 25 years…
Pires wasn’t the strongest but he was skillful , good passer, great goal scorer and wid pace..

      Wait lets judge Ozil honestly
      HE CAN’T SHOOT
      HE CAN’T RUN
      HE CAN’T HEAD
      HE CAN’T TACKLE

HE CAN PASS (Which every player does in the world)
      HE CARES LESS
      HE IS UNINTERESTED
      HE IS EXPENSIVE
      HE IS DULL & UNMOLTIVATING..

What a point for Leicester City. That is most likely the most valuable point of the season.
Once Spurs bury us on Sunday it will irrevocably be a Spurs vs Leicester City title showdown.

If anyone told me this at the start of the season, I would have been most likely to believe in a zombie apocalypse.

  26. vinie2000 says:

If Arsenal was in Africa, those guys would have been beating up for performance like this?. The manager would have resigned. Leicester is about to become a bigger team.

    1. Nyama tu says:
