OFFICIAL Arsenal team to face Everton in crunch end-of-season clash

Nothing less than a win will do for Arsenal today when Everton visit the Emirates, but as the Toffees have never won at this ground we have high hopes of taking all three points while we sit hoping for Middlesbrough to somehow stopping Liverpool from winning.

I am sure Wenger will have his very best team out, although we know that the Ox is out and Koscielny was unlikely to play, so here is the OFFICIAL line-up

Team vs Everton

Cech, Holding, Koscielny, Gabriel; Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Monreal; Sanchez, Ozil; Welbeck.

So it is great that Koss the Boss has recovered, and with Holding and Gabriel alongside him we should be strong at the back.

It’s good to see Danny Welbeck in to replace Giroud in such an important game, while Xhaka and Ramsey will ensure we have great attacking capabilities…

Just an hour to go before Kick Off and the tension is building. Let’s hope that the nerves are getting to Liverpool too.

Remember Sp*rs getting thrashed by relegated Newcastle last season….

There is hope yet!

Yes…… Good Line up… We can win and expect Boro do some miracle at Anfield against Looserphools….

    1. RSH says:

you are about to be very disappointed unfortunately

  2. Goonerboy says:

Good line-up for me, but whatsup with Mustafi???
The nerves are really building, I hope Liverpool bottles it..*smiles*

    1. stubill says:

I wondered where Mustafi was, he had a thigh injury so I’m guessing he’s not recovered in time.

Should have been there today but a herniated disc in my back put paid to that.

  3. Fatboy Gooney, Too Fat to track back. says:

Hope is all we have ?
Here’s hoping that the GroundHog Matrix preloads the Wenger? celebrations! ?⚪️?

  4. Jim A says:

Not good for DW to replace OG in any game this year.

    1. Twig says:

True. He hasn’t really justified his selection has he? He started his Arsenal career in blistering form, but it has been average ever since.

  5. Godswill says:

All I know we missed Santi. But why was this formation not used since?

    1. bran99 says:

The clueless one thought the 4th spot is always secured no matter what

      1. Fatboy Gooney, Too Fat to track back. says:

Well, we’re about to find out if the Groundhog Matrix really does exist or not, Surely the Wenger ? hasn’t been a coincidence for all these years? ?? anyways, I will keep believing until the final table tells me otherwise ?

  6. Twig says:

Liverpool will beat Middlesbrough 5-0. Just to clear any doubts that Arsenal won’t be playing in the UCL next season.

No upsets, no playoffs, no miracles!!!

  7. Goonerboy says:

    Bad Twig…..

  8. Abel says:

I have a gut feeling Arsenal will draw with Everton in the match we must win , while Liverpool would be held to be draw. That scenario would typify Arsenal under Wenger. Persistent bottlers!

  9. RSH says:

Bellerin saving Welbeck blushes, thank goodness.

  10. luvdaguns says:

if welbeck was lighting a cigarette he would burn his ear, great goal! there is hope!

  11. Ronny says:

    Bellerin!!!!

  12. ks-gunner says:

    What a legend

  13. Goonerboy says:

Koscielny does a Xhaka….just wanna know if he won’t be affected for the Fa cup final??????

    1. Elliot says:

I believe he misses the final now….

    2. RSH says:

yup, any matches under English FA jurisdiction, so now we lose our best defender ☹

  14. bran99 says:

Now with a red, let’s see how the old man motivates his players

  15. Adam Criniti says:

When Arsenal fail to win the Wenger Cup this year look no further than these telling results.

    Loss to Watford
    Loss to CO
    Draw to MBorough.

Wenger, the gift that keeps on giving.

  16. if it was Gabriella are ahaka you fans

  17. Ronny says:

    5th it is then!

  18. Abel says:

I have a gut feeling Arsenal will draw with Everton in the match we must win , while Liverpool would be held to a draw. That scenario would typify Arsenal under Wenger. Persistent bottlers!

  19. Ronny says:

Kos out against Chelsea, not good! 🙂
Maybe his wife had the offer of a last minute holiday flying out tonight?

  20. John Ibrahim says:

Liverfool will score and they will qualify

    Its over

  21. Ronny says:

    2 up!
Let’s see how well chambers managed to motivate his team mates 🙂

  22. Dee23 says:

Fans here are crazy! Liverpool haven’t won yet or scored for that matter. We are 2-0 up with 10 men and every comment is about negative things like Kos being sent off and predictions about Liverpool scoring and winning their game but no congratulatory cheers for either of the 2 goals we have made. Just wow!

    1. ks-gunner says:

      shut the f up

      1. Dee23 says:

Oh, I’m guessing you bet money on us finishing 5th. My bad. Say nothing!

      2. Dee23 says:

We are winning why you angry I didn’t even direct the comment at you Pagan!

    2. DarkPope says:

liverpool 1-0 up what you got to say about that

      1. Fatboy Gooney, Too Fat to track back. says:

        Bollox!! ?

      2. DarkPope says:

        liverpool 2-0

  23. Adam Criniti says:

Is there a reason why Middlesborough is bunkering in against Pool?

You’ve already been relegated fellas at least attempt to play some semblence of attacking football.

    And FU Wenger! Lol

    1. RSH says:

that’s how theyve been playing all season, they don’t know how to do anything else, lol. Works in our favor at the moment though cause Liverpool hate teams that park the bus.

      1. Adam Criniti says:

I know they’re offensively challenged but I just can’t fathom they can hang on for another half absorbing such pressure.

  24. ks-gunner says:

I am tempted to switch and watch the liverpool game. Crossing fingers

    1. Adam Criniti says:

Wouldn’t bother, Borough couldn’t score in a Merseyside brothel.

Can’t wait for Thursday night football

      Thx Arsene, your all heart.

    2. ks-gunner says:

      f it rlly its over

  25. John0711 says:

And it’s good nite from Arsenal

  26. Goonerboy says:

    Liverpool scores!!!

  27. ThirdManJW says:

Why does any Arsenal fan want CL football? If we get 4th, Wenger will just say it’s been a fantastic season as always, mission accomplished! We need a step back, so we can take two steps forward.

  28. Ronny says:

We all knew it would come.
A team like borough hold off pool at an field for 90 mins tall order!

    # kroenke out and Usmanov in

  29. Fatboy Gooney, Too Fat to track back. says:

Big fat hairy bollox ?? scouse conte’s score in injury time.
The mountain just got bigger, need a miracle goal from Chambers lol ?

  30. Elliot says:

I’m suprised our fans aren’t cheering “kroenke out”. With news of that bid, I would’ve thought that our fans would be crying for Stan to get lost. Usmanov needs our help if we silent Stan out!

  31. Juhi McLovin says:

Another 2 years of failure with the Arsene of the house Wenger, first of his name, Lord of the Failures, Protector of the Girouds and the rightful king of the Deluded

  32. John Ibrahim says:

    Finally its over

    Europa it is

  33. MPDwn says:

    Chambers hat trick…? Please…

  34. odein4 says:

    I love u Arsene Wenger

  35. Javier says:

i will never forgive Wenger to let Lucas Perez move to Milan F.C ..he never
offered to hm a real opportunity when he proved once and once again
he could be an important asset in Arsenal forward line
    Wenger out !!!!

    1. Break-on-through says:

I think that means he’s gonna get a forward more fitting to Arsenal, Perez looked good as a wide forward but I don’t think he was ever going to be the man to lead the line. Would rather see Walcott go, but Perez wants games, I think Arsenal could do better than both those players. It is a little unfair though, he never really got a chance, even Campbell got over twenty games last season.

  36. Muffdiver wants change...not for arsenal...for.the vending machine, I'm thirsty as f### says:

I was planning to.spend my Thursdays at my local brothel

    Thanks Arsene
    Thanks a bunch

  37. Jonm says:

Middlesborough should have had a penalty and liverpool down to ten men when it was still 0-0. Very lucky pool, ref was probably unsighted and linesman did not give a decidion. Now pool are 2-0 up

    1. RSH says:

ugh, let’s not start doing this…

    2. Jonm says:

I have been watching the pool game and during the first half the whole stadium was tense, liverpool fans, players and manager know what missing champions league is like. We are about to find out.

The only reason for the thumbs down to my post is that some fans on this site want arsenal not to get a top four spot because they want wenger to fail snd leave. If the penalty had been given and pool not won the game then there would have been euphoria on this site.

  38. ras911 says:

    Europa League anyone?

    1. DarkPope says:

mertesacker and holding against chelsea anyone?

    2. bran99 says:

      Everyone.. hahahaha

  39. Abel says:

That’s Gabriel out for the next 8 months. Likely ACL rupture.

  40. Muffdiver wants change...not for arsenal...for.the vending machine, I'm thirsty as f### says:

Cheer sanchez Emirates it’s the last time ul enjoy him

  41. odein4 says:

Arsenal Welcome to where u really Belong…

    1. Tony says:

i will give this comment any day any time cos this season has been a disaster…if you don’t plan properly then you will fail woefully

  42. Fatboy Gooney, Too Fat to track back. says:

?Champions league.. Your having a laugh! ?
    Groundhog is officially dead lol?

  43. Lexynal says:

How do you blame Wenger for rash challenge by defenders?. How do you blame Wenger for referee refusing to show even a yellow card for the challenge on Welbeck.?Common guys…

    1. Fatboy Gooney, Too Fat to track back. says:

Nope but we can blame Wenger for leaving it late before making adjustments to the team.

      1. Lexynal says:

Nope….leaving it late isn’t an excuse for defenders not to the professional job on the field of play guys

    2. luvdaguns says:

i don’t blame him for that, i blame him for 5th place,

  44. bran99 says:

FA cup isn’t out of reach now, Mert as the CB against Hazard?? Just saw Hazard scoring that rocket of a goal.. we are doomed

    1. Fatboy Gooney, Too Fat to track back. says:

A losers medal is a worthy one that suits.

    2. DarkPope says:

i am so excited for the fa cup final!

  45. gmv8 says:

When is Michael Oliver going to send an Everton player off??????

  46. Abel says:

With both Kocielny and Gabriel out of the FA cup final, an with Liverpool leading 3-0, it looking like another trophyless season and Europa next season.

    1. DarkPope says:

looks like sanchez is out for the final

    2. RSH says:

welll trophyless seasons is nothing new at least

  47. ks-gunner says:

Arsenal supporters at the emirate stadium are trully c#$nts, not all but way to many

    1. stubill says:

      Explain your comment.

  48. odein4 says:

Thanks Wenger, you are d best

  49. bran99 says:

Thursday night here we come.. damn feel so sick even mentioning that..

  50. Guns Blazing says:

Fook Kroenke, fook Wenger! I am gonna watch some other team until there is a change at the club, I don’t want to get my hopes up one more year just to get embarrassed at the second half of the season. Kroenke says he doesn’t want to sell and that he wants to win trophies? That’s a lie and we all know it, he just wants the fans money, and i hope there will be some sort of boycott for change. All supporters should start attending some low level league team just to make arsenal see that a club is nothing without it’s fanbase.
But I won’t be delusional, next season all is forgotten and it’s back to the same old same old. I just can’t watch the team that I love get run to the ground in the hands of greedy bastards that doesn’t care about us, peace out all you gooners!

  51. RSH says:

Goodbye Alexis, last time on Emirates pitch 🙁

    1. bran99 says:

Not last time, he’ll be back with Bayern after 2 seasons

      1. RSH says:

you’re making the assumption we’ll be back in champions league.

  52. Rkw says:

Come on … Did anyone actually believe we were in with a shot for the CL other than the 4th place whinning junkies on this site … Take my advice get down to your local tesco express and stock up on the soup then listen to those with a modicum of knowledge about the game and a desire to see the club improve who have been saying for 5 years now that wenger was professionally incapable of delivering another title and then join the chorus of calls for his immediate departure…coz if he stays there will be nothing next season either

    1. bran99 says:

It’s true, the more seasons he stays the more trophyless seasons are added in our beautiful funny record

  53. luvdaguns says:

as if signing world class players wasnt hard enough, now w thursday football, kane 3 more goals, if we dont solve that CF position, once and for all, we will be lucky to be 5th next season

    1. Tony says:

In fact every every department in the that team needs to be solved

  54. RSH says:

lmao, weren’t there people calling for Iwobi to play over Ozil??

  55. ArseOverTit says:

    So.

    The slide down continues..
Greedy money grabbing owner and board deserve nothing less but the real AFC fans deserve more. I’m not talking about football tourists, business entertainers or season ticket borrowers but those who are being left behind by a club that doesn’t care for the fans or what truly makes a GREAT football club which is success on the Field and not in the balance books.

    Shame on you Arsenal.

  56. dboy says:

Welcome to the Europa League. Regress!

    #Wengerout

  57. ks-gunner says:

Make Arsenal great again mr fatman

  58. Ronny says:

    I’m pleased today.
We won and Ramsey.finally scored a goal!
But also we deservedly finished 5th.
    A necessary sacrifice for change.

The summer is going to be interesting!!

  59. Tim says:

Chelsea had a blip last season. This season it was Arsenal’s turn. These things happen. One bad season doesn’t a crisis necessarily make.

    1. ks-gunner says:

Chelsea kicked their manager out what will we do?
