Official Arsenal team to face Tottenham and live stream update

The first North London derby of the 2019/20 season and it will be a classic if last year’s game is anything to go by.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham enter the game on the back of defeats and neither team will want to go into the international break with two consecutive losses to their name.

There has been a lot of pre-game speculation as to what team Unai Emery would put out, would this be the game that we get to see Aubameyang, Pepe and Lacazette start at the same time? Would Chambers replace Luiz and who will the boss go with in the middle of the park?

Well, the wait is over, this is the team that Emery has decided to go with.

So, Pepe, Aubameyang and Lacazette do start together but that midfield gives serious cause for concern, Guendouzi and Xhaka again, hope Emery knows what he is doing playing those two together again.

It is good that Torreira starts, Tottenham will fear him and the defence is the same as the one that faced Liverpool last Saturday.

Overall the team looks satisfactory, would have looked great if Xhaka was not there but you cannot get everything you want.

The game is live in the UK on pay-tv channel Sky Sport and kicks off at 16.30 UK time.

Links will be put in the comments where to watch the game live and free so keep checking in.

Also, if you go to the official Arsenal website you will be able to get live commentary text.

  1. Anyone started to miss ‘theo Walcott for pepe’ and ‘monreal for kolasinac’ after first half?

  2. Let me guess, win 3-2 some will get cocky. Lose 3-2 “Emery Must Go” like a manic Street Preachers song. Draw? I guess that keeps us sane 😉

    1. Win or lose Emery needs to change or leave the club. Xhaka is a liability,he should have been sold and replaced with someone better.

    2. even if we won, I would have slated the performance. It was not good enough and i’m not satisfied with what i saw at all. Guendouzi and Laca are the only players that should feel like they gave it their all.

    3. Sane? No chance at all. We are football obsessives. Nothing remotely sane about any of us. Sane people are boring and I avoid them like the plaque. Who the hell wants to be sensible anyway!

  3. Same liabilities and same mistakes cost us again. Laca man of the match and Xhaka has incriminating evidence on Emery?

  4. For the past few seasons I feel like Spurs have dominated us, and today was the first time I feel like we bossed them. I know it wasn’t a win, but I am definitely sensing a feeling that we have upgraded on last season and dominated them for a change. I am pleased with that I can see an ascendency by AFC

  5. I have read several opinion about our best midfield trio but I say this to you today: Xhaka offers long passes and occasional shots. He’s terrible at tackling, not mobile and can make rash decisions. Guendouzi is daring, confident and improving in leaps and bounds. He also tackles pretty well. Ceballos has excellent technique, mobility, flair and work rate. Ozil is not a fighter and cannot help the team when defending but he’s highly technical, with an eye for a defense splitting pass. Torreira is our best tackler. Willock has an excellent work rate, runs a lot but still some way behind ceballos. After this game, we can safely say our best midfield trio is Torreira, Guendouzi and Ceballos.

    1. Sparkles, you are right. Thing is, Emery should’ve already figured this out! We didn’t need this game to know it.

    2. Being in midfield is about creating as many chances as can bring goals. Arsenal fans have seen so much football than to be told about Ceballos techniques, mobility, flair, and what else. MAKE IMPACT is what we want regularly. That is why Ozil is not playing.

  6. My analysis;

    – Xhaka is rubbish in every department.
    – Mkhitaryan is history.
    – Guendouzi is amazing and I think he was MotM.
    – Ceballos has is he doesn’t release the ball early enough. Bit too selfish to my liking. he improves this weakness, we have a heck of a player.
    – CB need huge improvements.

If Emery keeps Ozil out and plays with Xhaka, there is definitely something wrong with him. He should trust MH position with Torreira and drop Xhaka.
