Poll: If Barcelona offered 100million GBP for Alexis should Arsenal sell?

So now we have the first 200million transfer of Neymar from Barcelona to Paris Saint Germain, but this now leaves a big gap in Barca’s MSN front line, but who is big enough to fill it? Obviously Alexis Sanchez used to play in that spot for Barca until Neymar arrived, and having seen the massive improvement in the Chilean since his arrival at Arsenal, could Barcelona decide to come back for him now?

Sanchez would need no time to settle in, having already spent 3 years at the Catalan giants, and even if they offered 100 million for him they would still be left with a tidy profit and a complete team again.

Well Barcelona have the money obviously, and if we were given the choice of 100million or losing Alexis for nothing next summer, which would you choose?

Should Arsenal sell Alexis if offered 100m GBP

  1. WTF. Is this a real question ?!
    Y.E.S
Take ozil for extra 60 while ur at it

I have the uber on standby

  2. It’s very unlikely Barcelona will come for Sanchez or Ozil, because of their ages. They will chase younger talents like Mbappe and Dembele, as successors for Messi and Suarez.

Arsenal should focus more on Chamberlain’s contract extension, because he is very talented, young, a homegrown, English and he can contribute a lot to Arsenal with a great impact as a right wingback.

  3. NO WE NEED HIM TO CONTINUE BRINGING HIS UNIQUE QUALITY TO THE SIDE. LOOKS LIKE WE ALREADY DID WELL IN SEEING HIS RETURN. WE NEED TO SURROUND HIM WITH QUALITY SO AS TO SEE THAT HE STAYS. ARSENAL ARE NOT EXACTLY SHORT OF FUNDING WHEN THE PUSH COMES TO SHOVE.

*A FEW ADDITIONS HERE, A FEW TWEEKS THERE AND TRIM SOME DEAD WOOD AND WE’RE BACK IN THE MIX

  4. the real question should be “Should arsenal let the premier league title(A. sanchez) go for 100 mill? ” last time i checked we didn’t want be known as a selling club, why now?

  5. Sanchez kissed Arsenal badge on training ground according to reports. Oh well!

Off topic: Figo, Zidane, Ronaldo, Bale, Pogba……I thought I have seen it all then BOOM NEYMAR. Sooner than later, players worth would be nothing less than 100M pounds for a start. #FootballGoneGaga

    1. Just like house market, the bubble will explode. When there is no club able to compete with the crazy prices, they can only develop their own talents (which is very good for football future) and eventually the prices will stabilize to much lower standard.

Neighbour’s grass is always greener, that’s why the fans are demanding Mbappe, Dembele, Asensio, Veratti, etc. Luckily Arsenal can still spot youngsters like Nelson, Iwobi, Bellerin, Fabregas, Oxlade, etc.

    1. Why not?
He has 12 months to go and if a team doesn’t think he is worth it, they can forget about him for 12 months, their choice.

Sometimes paying to get NOW comes at a premium when teams know you have the money.

Kinda why I get frustrated at reading AFC has £100 mil to spend or gets inflated to £250 mil… Doesn’t make it any easier for AFC to make transfers happen if everyone believes they have a lot to spend, people ask for more.

  6. LETS NOT FORGET KROENKE WOULD TAKE HIS % FOR HIS ADMINISTRATIVE FEE AND HIS SON A QUARTER % ADVISORY FEE FOR A YEAR OF PLANNING TO CONTINUE WILD ANIMAL HUNTING

  7. Of course. They should accept a tenner for Sanchez if it meant that he wouldn’t go reinforce a Premier League opponent.
(I’m exaggerating of course but the principle of accepting a much lower offer from any club from the continent compared to Man City’s stands).

  8. Neymer sale is good for football-

Excited to see if Neymer grows further as a player, as he will be centre of team

He was humble enough to play 2nd fiddle and learn from Messie – Now he has chance to blossom

And PSG could become the 3rd high-profile celebrity team in the world with Barca & Madrid

    1. Neymar has left partially so he can be main man, Alexis left partially because he wanted to get away from being a Messi feeder…

I hope the trend continues ^.^

  9. Sanchez has only 12 months on his current contract. Unless he signs a new one, he’s not worth more than 40ish million pounds. I reckon he’ll go on a free, and hopefully go to Bayern.

    1. Worth is subjective and I bet all top teams know this, PSG may believe Neymar is worth more to them than the buy out fee and as such happy to pay that buy out fee, doesn’t mean Neymar would be worth that much to a club like Aston Villa, they couldn’t dream of making that fee back… if they did somehow brainwash a talent like that into joining them XD

Alexis might not be worth more than £40 mil to some teams as they can wait for 12 months, for all teams though?

  10. Personally I’d take the 100 million , then invest in talent that will propel us to winning the league . Arsenal are one dimensional and lacklustre without Sanchez on the pitch, hopefully we can find a way to be less reliant on a single player to make the difference in our games .

  11. Too hypothetical of a question. There is no team that will pay 100 million for a player who can go for free next year.

  12. I voted yes, I doubt Barca would but hey, they might feel forced too…

Dybala will cost 140 million Euros from media reports after Neymar transfer so more than £120 million.
Dembele will cost 90 million euros from media reports, this is less and could be seen as good business but he isn’t the name that Alexis is or that Neymar was. Would Barca fans be happy with this if Alexis costs only a little bit more? Plus Alexis knows the club and league from previous time with them.

From reports Barca has already had a £70 mil bid for Coutinho rejected and media speculating today that they will go in with an improved bid of over £100 million.

Every team knows Barca has money to spend and will be asking for a slice of that pie, Barca know they are going to have to pay over the odds for a player, even if they look at one in his last 12 months of his contract, they need NOW and not in 12 months.

If we can get £100 mil for him then we could put 90 mil euros (£81 mil) on Dembele and put the £19 mil left over towards getting Lemar completed and completing the CM signing that Wenger wants, Seri??

  13. There is no way Wenger or the board would sanction spending that kind of money there are too many noughts at the end. every one knows Arsene only shops in the bargain basement compared to our rivals.
