Premier League manager tips Arsenal for a title challenge

Patrick Vieira appears to name Arsenal as a title challenger while speaking about the clubs his Crystal Palace team has faced this season.

The Eagles held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw yesterday as the Reds continue their winless start to this campaign.

Palace’s first game of the season was against Arsenal and the Gunners beat them 2-0.

It was a good performance from them, but the Gunners were the better team and they went on to beat Leicester City in their next match.

Mikel Arteta’s side is currently chasing Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table and that makes them early title challengers.

Vieira seems to think so, and he said in his post-match press conference yesterday, as quoted by Metro Sport:

‘When you look at the number of points, of course playing against two teams who are fighting to win the Premier League, is always going to be challenging.’

Just Arsenal Opinion

We have made a bright start to this campaign and we probably will keep getting better.

Our new signings have made the team better and it will be hard to stop us from winning matches now.

However, we must keep working hard and stay humble because the season is very long.

  1. Pre Mature talk. Gunners do not get carried away . Top 4 is our target and that it self will be a huge achievement considering both Chelsea and Spurs have a very strong team.
Top 4 will go down to the wire .

Let’s go game by game and focus on Bourtsmouth game . Can we win convincingly there with a clean sheet ?

  2. Agree champions league is the next step still a way to go to challenge for prem league early days let’s see what happens when we play the big boys!
