Report – Real Madrid attacker interested in a move to Arsenal

Marco Asensio is interested in moving to Arsenal as he nears the end of his time at Real Madrid.

The Spanish attacker is one of the many players struggling to get regular game time at Madrid.

It has been tough for Carlo Ancelotti to fit everyone into his plans, yet Los Blancos still wants to sign Kylian Mbappe.

Their interest in the Frenchman almost certainly means Asensio will hardly get playing time again.

El Nacional claims the attacker knows his current run in the team would vanish as soon as Mbappe moves to Madrid, and he is working on his next destination.

Tottenham and AC Milan made moves for him months ago, but he turned them down.

Both clubs remain in the running, but the report says he prefers to move to Arsenal.

Just Arsenal Opinion

Arsenal needs quality attackers, and it is good to hear Asensio wants to join the club.

Injuries have plagued the Spaniard’s career. However, he remains one of the finest out there, and Arsenal fans would love to see him score some of his marvellous goals for their club.

Asensio has 4 goals and an assist from 14 competitive games this season.

  1. Atangana says:

He’s really good. And he can also play as a left winger so that ESR plays midfield attack or vice versa.

  2. Longbenark says:

He’s really good, IMO far better than Odegaard as at now, would really do well against teams that defend a lot,

We don’t need to spend big money to get the best, there are a lot of talents for far cheaper fees , Asensio is one, Pedro Gonçalves, Pablo Sarabia, James Ward-Prowse,

Our Attackers are doing bad but the truth is, we lack a lot in the midfield

Against Liverpool, if we had a strong midfield, I’m certain we wouldn’t loose that bad,

All we need is a great midfield and goals would roll in from all directions.

  3. Bubacar Fati says:

    M. Assensio will sorely be a perfect signing for arsenal

  4. kjelli says:

Great win and 3 points.. negatives and positives but we need a fast moving baller in mid. ode is too slow
