Should Arsenal accept supposed David Luiz-Giroud swap deal?

Chelsea have supposedly offered Arsenal the opportunity to swap Olivier Giroud foar David Luiz, which would in turn free up Michy Batshuayi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to move also.

The Gunners have been actively in talks to try and bring the Gabon international to the Emirates this month, with Alexandre Lacazette struggling to find the form needed to help us vie for a place in the top four this term.

A deal is believed to be in place to sign PEA, but Borussia Dortmund are said to be delaying the completion of the transfer until they manage to land his replacement, and Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud are on their radar.

The French striker is believed to have turned down a move, with his family believed to be unwilling to leave London, opening up another avenue, with Chelsea now keen on Giroud’s signature, and the Blues are said to be offering David Luiz as part of the deal to sign our reserve striker.

The Brazilian has fallen down the pecking order this term, with Antonio Conte supposedly having had a falling out with the defender, before Andreas Christensen emerged through with a number of impressive performances, and is near-undroppable in the form that he has been showing throughout the campaign.

Our side has been on the look-out for an experienced defender to add to the ranks, and Luiz would certainly fit into that category, having won numerous trophies with Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, as well as having played a key role in helping the Blues to win the Champions League, and would be a huge boost to our team as we look to secure a spot in the top four, whilst also being available for the Europa League.

Should Arsenal jump at the chance to swap Luiz for Giroud? Would the Chelsea defender become our main man in defence?
