Should Arsenal sell Lucas Perez for just €8million?

I personally thought that Arsenal (or Emery) had decided to keep Lucas Perez for the new season, but now it would appear that we are trying to offload him to Lazio. FootballItalia are reporting today….

Arsenal reportedly tell Lazio they want a fee of €8m for the signing of forward Lucas Perez.

The Spaniard is surplus to requirements at the North London club and spent all of last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna.

He is now back with his parent club for pre-season, but his situation remains the same despite Unai Emery replacing Arsene Wenger as boss.

Lazio are in the market for a new forward as they look to bolster their squad for the coming season.

It emerged last week that the Biancocelesti had identified Perez as a key target, with sporting director Igli Tare confident the 30-year-old will be able to revive his fortunes at the Rome club.

And according to Corriere di Roma, Arsenal have now told Lazio that their asking price for the player is €8m.

That seems rather cheap even though he is now 30 years old, but to be brutally honest I thought he was rubbish when he came on against Atletico Madrid. I was hoping that he would become a good backup left-winger this season, but now I’m not so sure…

What do you think. Keep him or cash in now?
