Sky Sports pundit predicts Arsenal to narrowly miss out on title

Gary Neville has given his top-four predictions for the coming season, and is tipping Arsenal to come second in the Premier League.

The Gunners finished in the runner-up spot last term, after Tottenham finished third in a two-horse race for the title, and Gary Neville has tipped us to finish in the same spot once again this season.

The former England and Manchester United defender also predicts his former club to top the table, following the big profile signings of Jose Mourinho, Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mhkitaryan.

Manchester City are tipped to follow in behind us to take the third slot, while Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are predicted to deny both Tottenham and Chelsea a spot in the top-four, which would be a shock for Blues fans, and a bringing back down to earth for the former.

Neville said: “I will say Manchester United for the title with Arsenal in second, Manchester City in third and Liverpool fourth.

“But if anybody is reading this and thinks I know what I’m talking about, then I need to make it clear that I really don’t have a clue!”

Spurs fans have been getting too big in their boots, following their wonder season last year, in which they only managed to finish in third, and Champions League football will no doubt hinder their chances of another surprise place in the CL qualifying spots.

On the other hand, you have to think that without any former of European competition, Chelsea will be right up there, and I cant see them finishing below Liverpool personally. Conte is a well organised manager as was highlighted at Euro 2016, and he has a very strong squad, especially compared with that of the Reds.

Where do you see Arsenal finishing currently? Are we assured of a top-four spot?
