Super Sanchez leads Arsenal player ratings from West Ham win

This may well have been the easiest choice of an Arsenal Man of the Match for some time, with Alexis Sanchez bagging a hat-trick in the space of 14 second half minutes that sealed the three points and nipped in the bud any hiopes West Ham had of punishing the Gunners for our first half wastefulness.

Cech 6 – Mostly a spectator and could do nothing with their goal.

Gabriel 6 – In the wars but came good after a rusty start.

Mustafi 6 – A couple of unsure clearances but otherwise a good game.

Koscielny 7.5 – Was there with a crucial clearance or tackle when needed.

Monreal 7 – Solid and got forward with more purpose than Gabriel.

Coquelin 7.5 – Disciplined after booking. Instrumental in Arsenal dominance.

Xhaka 7 – Settling into side and always looking for the ball. Good passing.

Ozil 8 – Was everywhere and had nearly 96 % passing accuracy, a goal and an assist in another great game.

Walcott 6 – Good pace and movement but was not utilised by a wasteful Arsenal.

Oxlade-Chamberlain 8 – His best game for ages. Great goal and always a threat with driving runs and footwork.

Alexis 9 – Wrap him up in cotton wool Arsene. Absolute key to Arsenal success.

Ramsey 6 – Good impact off the bench for the Welshman.

Iwobi and Elneny – No time for a rating.

Absolutely brilliant performance from Alexis. That last goal was a pure work of art!
Also great to see the Ox’s goal, that will his confidence a lot of good

  2. Wilshegz says:

Ox was poor in the first half n Ozil too bar the goal.. will give them 6.5 or 7 each

Xhaka was the 2nd best player after Alexis – deserves 8

Alexis had 3goals and an assist. he contributed to 4 of the 5goals.. give that man a 10.

  3. muffdiver says:

Told my missus if I caught her and alexis in bed I wouldn’t be.upset…she said… What about giroud then?

    Shutup woman

  4. Twig says:

The OX is probably our best dribbler. Awesome footwork yesterday!

  5. Twig says:

I’ll give Ozil a 7 max. Other than the goal which was laid on the plate for him, he had an average game.

  6. Sam, need a striker says:

Hate to say that but our attack is nothing without Sanchez … No one else can drive the ball forward like sanchez

  7. gotanidea says:

Now I am worried if Sanchez gets injured for a long time in this season. There is no one in the team can replace him in the central forward position. Giroud, Welbeck, Lucas and Sanogo do not have the ability to be both forward and playmaker.

And now the opponents know, to stop us they just need to stop Sanchez. I hope our strikers can learn from him. These players can reach Sanchez’s level if they keep playing together.

    1. NY_Gunner says:

I think Lucas can. Given a few runs in the 1st squad, he’ll be the one to step up…

    2. Wilshegz says:

Perez look like he could be a Vardy/Kane-esque given a run of games n also Welbeck can do a job there.

  8. mr.brightside says:

what do you need to do to get a 10?

Sanchez 3 goals, 1 assist, ran, passed, dribbled, hungry every minute. if thats not a 10 I dont know what is it.

    This ratings are harsh

  9. royalman says:

I don’t want to talk abt Sanchez, d guy is just too much. Let me talk abt OX, if he repeats this type of performance in our games den we r good to go. He add a lot drive to our attack. Good one
