Super Sanchez leads Arsenal player ratings from West Ham win

This may well have been the easiest choice of an Arsenal Man of the Match for some time, with Alexis Sanchez bagging a hat-trick in the space of 14 second half minutes that sealed the three points and nipped in the bud any hiopes West Ham had of punishing the Gunners for our first half wastefulness.

Cech 6 – Mostly a spectator and could do nothing with their goal.

Gabriel 6 – In the wars but came good after a rusty start.

Mustafi 6 – A couple of unsure clearances but otherwise a good game.

Koscielny 7.5 – Was there with a crucial clearance or tackle when needed.

Monreal 7 – Solid and got forward with more purpose than Gabriel.

Coquelin 7.5 – Disciplined after booking. Instrumental in Arsenal dominance.

Xhaka 7 – Settling into side and always looking for the ball. Good passing.

Ozil 8 – Was everywhere and had nearly 96 % passing accuracy, a goal and an assist in another great game.

Walcott 6 – Good pace and movement but was not utilised by a wasteful Arsenal.

Oxlade-Chamberlain 8 – His best game for ages. Great goal and always a threat with driving runs and footwork.

Alexis 9 – Wrap him up in cotton wool Arsene. Absolute key to Arsenal success.

subs:
Ramsey 6 – Good impact off the bench for the Welshman.

Iwobi and Elneny – No time for a rating.
