The Tottenham line-up that Arsenal will probably face today

Tottenham will be missing some significant players today and will be short at right-back which is an area that Arsenal could well take advantage of.

Spurs record signing Tanguy Ndombele is out through injury and their other summer big-name acquisition, Giovani Lo Celso will most likely start on the bench.

Alli could get a start but chances are that Mauricio Pochettino will go with Lucas Moura and there is an expectation that Christian Eriksen will start.

Probable Tottenham line-up

Aurier
Winks
Sissoko
Eriksen
Moura

Kane

That looks a decent team but Eriksen has issues with the club over a transfer, Aurier has yet to play this season and is transfer listed, Winks is not the solid midfielder he was once touted as and Alli will not be starting.

You can see Arsenal targeting their wing-backs, they look very weak there and with Pepe and Aubameyang on the flanks and Lacazette in the middle you have to think that Spurs will be worried.

The Tottenham midfield looks weak simply because Eriksen is not great at tracking back and I can see Winks and Sissoko being run over, especially if Unai Emery goes with Torreira, Willock and Ceballos in the centre, as I expect him to.

Obviously, their forward line up is formidable and that is the one area that is a concern for Arsenal but the one way to contain the Tottenham front three is to cut out service to Kane, Son and Moura.

Put it this way, that Tottenham line-up is nowhere near as strong as it could have been and Arsenal have to take the opportunity they have been handed today.
