Two players that could decide the Liverpool v Arsenal game

Both Liverpool and Arsenal possess top-quality stars, especially up front, however, it may well fall to two unfashionable players to decide who emerges as the winners on Saturday evening.

It is easy to overlook the roles that goalkeepers play, they are not the big names that most people pivot towards, but Arsenal’s Bernd Leno and Liverpool’s Adrian could easily be the most important players on the pitch.

It is fairly certain that both will be called upon on a regular basis, especially Leno, however, Adrian is unlikely to have a quiet game and he is not exactly the safest pair of hands.

Adrian showed against Southampton last weekend that he is very liable to errors and that will feed through to the Reds defence. You have to think that their confidence in him is limited.

Leno does have the confidence of the Arsenal backline but his distribution and aerial judgement is questionable at times.

In effect, we have two keepers that are more than capable of pulling off brilliant saves that are also prone to the odd error.

It is quite conceivable that the game on Saturday could be decided by a goalkeeping error and in that regard, you have to give the slight advantage to Arsenal but that is negated by the fact that Leno is likely to be the busier keeper.
