Very Affordable Away Trip – Vorskla v Arsenal tickets are just £8.00!

Arsenal are set to travel to Vorskla Poltava at the end of November and the club have announced that they have been allocated 800 tickets for the game in the Ukraine and the price of them are just £8.00 each! But even at that price it is unlikely that we will sell the full allocation .

But of course that is only half the story. It is only a three and a half hour direct flight, but if you fancied driving you would have 1500 miles to contend with, going through Belgium, Germany and Poland before arriving in the Ukraine, and the petrol would cost a lot more than the price of an air ticket, which is available right now for that day at around 150 quid, which makes it very attractive indeed if you fancy seeing Arsenal play over in Poltava for the first time ever.

Thursday 29th November 2018
Kick Off: 17:55 UK
To be played at Oleksiy Butovsky Vorskla Stadium, Ukraine

Vorskla gave Sporting Lisbon a hard game over there with the Portugese side losing right up until the 89th minute so it won’t be easy for us, especially as we are likely to play reserves as we have the crucial North London derby coming up just three days later.

But by then we should have already qualified for the knockouts (definitely if we win in Lisbon next Thursday, so whatever team Emery puts out should not be under too much pressure to get the win, so the team and the fans can just enjoy themselves!

PS Beer is around 50p a pint on average! Worth a trip?

  1. Admini, you mean @£8 per each traveling Arsenal away fan, the club will only get (£64,000.00) from the 800 tickets allocated to Arsenal for the match? Assuming Arsenal succeeded to get all the £64k, but will this amount of money covers for the expenses the club would have incurred for playing the match at away in Ukraine? To me, this amount of gate takings money that Arsenal could get from playing the match is ridiculously low. Why not Arsenal get at least 1600 tickets allocated to them to get a possible (£128,000.00) from the match? Or is the place where the match will be played is too close to Russian territory? Which for security reason could make many Arsenal fans not wanting to take the risk of traveling to a volatile area with danger to watch Arsenal play football? Let me opine my opinion, Emery will not play a weak Arsenal side at away against Vorskla. I am sure he’ll play a strong side against them to win the match. Because before Arsenal play Tottenham in the PL who also would have played in the CL, Arsenal could by then still have games winning run and unbeaten run (two in one) on all competitions to protect at Vorskla. Assuming Arsenal continue to win games in all competitions beating Leicester, Sporting CP, Crystal Palace and Liverpool. Surely, they’ll want to beat Vorskla to keep their winning and unbeaten runs in all competitions going before they host Tottenham and beat them also to keep extending both their winning and unbeaten runs. Intact

  2. I don’t think Arsenal get any percentage of away receipts. I believe the home team keep 100% of the gate receipts. Basically the entrance fee at their stadium is £8 each for home or away supporters so I’m not sure what you’re saying?
