Wenger sees positives in dour Arsenal display

AUDIOPOST – Arsene Wenger was pleased with the way his newly sculpted Arsenal team coped with being without so many of his stars to beat a tough Sunderland side 3-1 yesterday, especially after they had found their feet in the second half.

Listen to his interview with SkySports straight after the game and see what you think. A very positive day!

  1. Im just proud of the way mesut ozil has been playing to his full potential! He is #1 in the league with 12 assists and i pray that he keeps on going from strength to strength and remain injury free! Coyg!

    1. I think you have to include Alexis and Kos too. I also personally think Monreal has been outstanding too (albeit he was really edgy yesterday and nearly blew it).

  2. It’s crazy how all the top
    sides are throwing away
    chances to win the league.
    The Manchester clubs
    despite their stars look insipid
and weak against mid table outfits.
It’s like they don’t want to win the league.
Meanwhile Europe’s Super club Tyson Fury Leicester
jink and jive to the lead. It’s madness !!!
Ok it’s better than Bayern wrapping up
the Bundesliga in the first week of Dec
but there sure is a lot of cr#p football being played in the EPL.
Arsenal will win the league I am convinced.
This week an injury ravaged Arsenal leap froged the Manc’s
so injury is no longer a restricting factor at the Emirates.
Now Cambo and Rambo are scoring goals
Sanchez may not get another game 🙂
Even if we lost Ozil and Cech we will still win 🙂

  3. Hey admin, it’d be nice if you could limit the amount of articles you post per day because it usually limits people from. having debates. for example, there are three articles, with titles I’ve listed below, which could’ve been summed up to one.
Usual November, but a great start to
    December for Arsenal!
A nervy start but an important win
    for Arsenal
Arsenal win after Sunderland put up
    early fight

    1. You joker! ?… Speak for yourself!

If you’re limited with your discussion regarding anything to do with Arsenal, then don’t comment on every Article!
      (Simple) ?

      Don’t interfere with people’s livelihood!

I guess that, you would have plenty of debate,
If all the Article’s were about Harry Potter, Hogwarts!
      and Gryffindor Quidditch ?

  4. Arsene Wenger sees the positives but there are lots of minute details we can clearly see that like flamini is unable to hold the CDM position tight which is causing lots of unforced errors in the side when caught off-gaurd by M’Vila in the middle of the park. If the team wants to improve than it is time for Wenger to show his backside to some of the elder-statesmen and buy a CDM who can actually harass teams without the possession. Arsene surely has more necessary funds to buy and 25 million bid won’t hurt the team.

    1. Well it is because Gabriel will soon takeover mert and there is no chance of catching him and also the fact that mert is the vice-captain of the club, where the captain is a benchwarmer who played vs West Brom for 30 minutes of football. Wenger is a poor selector of captain maybe he can give it to Cech.
