Which team will Wenger pick to face Koln?

Arsene Wenger said after Saturday’s win over Bournemouth that he will be picking a strong Arsenal team to face Koln on Thursday. He told the media: “It will be a Premier League team. Some players will come in of course, because many players played twice for the national team, and then again today. So two or three will not be in the squad, but most of them will play.”

So this is the team Wenger chose on Sunday….
Cech
Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal
Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac
Welbeck, Ozil
Lacazette

So which changes will he make? First of all I am pretty sure that Ospina will be our keeper for this competition, which will keep him sharp in case Petr Cech gets an injury this season.

I have a feeling that he will give Lacazette and Welbeck a rest and play Alexis and Giroud up front, to give the Chilean a bit more match fitness ahead of Chelsea, and to reward Giroud for staying.

In defence Wenger may pick Holding and as he can’t pick a banned Koscielny he can keep him fresh for the Premier League. Coquelin is out injured so I reckon Ramsey and Xhaka will stay in midfield.

So this is what I think the team will look like on Thursday….

Ospina
Holding, Mustafi, Monreal
Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac
Alexis, Ozil
Giroud

What do you think Wenger’s team will look like?
